What makes your event stand apart from others?

All events compete for the public’s attention, so your event should clearly demonstrate its ‘point of difference’. Although the broad theme of your event such as food and wine; sporting; art; music/concert; or festival, is important in attracting visitors, your event should also provide a ‘hook’ to further entice potential visitors, such as a:

  • star attraction
  • unique experience.

Mt Isa Rodeo define their claim to fame as being the ‘largest rodeo in Queensland and the largest event of its type in the Southern Hemisphere’.
