Australian Tourism Export Council

The Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) is the peak industry body representing Australia’s tourism export sector with more than 800 members of all sizes and location across Australia. Members include inbound tour operators and online distributors who connect Australian tourism products with vital distribution channels in key overseas markets.

Tourism Australia

Tourism Australia is the Australian Government agency responsible
for attracting international visitors to Australia and encouraging Australians to travel domestically, both for leisure and business events. The organisation is active in around 30 key markets and activities include advertising, PR and media programs, industry advice, trade shows and industry programs, consumer promotions, online communications and consumer research.

The Australian Tourism
Accreditation Program (ATAP) is a nationwide project designed to establish and continually improve industry standards. It aims to give tourism operators across Australia the ability to apply for‘Australian Tourism Accreditation’ online.

The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse

The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is the most comprehensive database on Australian tourism information. The content is compiled in a nationally agreed format and is electronically accessible by tourism business owners (operators), wholesalers, retailers and distributors for use in their website.
